Great lighting! I have a 10 gallon tank and i got the smallest size light. It does a great job of illuminating the entire space!!! For the price, I honestly couldnât ask for more. It does its job wonderfully. The reason for the lack of full stars, however, is that it is NOT waterproof, and the extenders arenât secure on either side of the light. Really nice budget light for average tank setups Exactly what I was looking for. This light (the 16.8 to 24 inch model) fits a 10 gallon tank with a glass lid perfectly. The brackets sit on top of the rim and the unit slides easily back to open the lid and feed, The night time “blue” light is a nice extra bonus, and is activated by putting the 3 position switch opposite the normal on (off in the middle).
