While I didn’t use the wire included in this kit at all (I purchased 18 ga white wire to splice one strip into several individual strips), I did need / use the end caps and U-rail clips and mounting screws. The 18 ga. wire was very large (almost to large) for the use, I couldn’t find a smaller white stranded wire alternative on Amazon. Be careful if you are using larger wire (as I did) to not stress the solder joints after soldering. The solder pads on these strips rip out easily with too…
