SEEMS GOOD I purchased to replace some halogen 10 watt lamps, these, although advertised to replace 20 watt lamp, they were as bright as removed 10 watt halogen. They say they are for indoor use, but, like several other reviewers, I am using outdoors in landscape light fixtures. The fixture has a glass lens, so water does not get in. But, I’m sure there is some condensation, so might be damp inside. The big question is, how long will they last for my fixtures. I will update this review if they fail…
and have been happy with the results I was previously using MR11 10-Watt and 20-Watt halogen bulbs (depending on fixture) for outdoor lighting and was getting tired of them shorting out all the time. I went through and replaced several connectors, made sure fixtures were clean, etc. and still had issues with bulbs burning out particularly when it rains. I began to look into how I could resolve the issue and potentially find something more efficient in terms of power. I have been replacing my old halogen bulbs when they burn out…
