Great LED lights! I ordered these to replace the six 50w halogens that were in my kitchen. One of my biggest complaints (other than power consumption) about the halogens is that if you only replace one bulb, it was considerably brighter than the older bulbs.With the lifespan of LED bulbs, this should be eliminated. I purchased the daylight (5000k) bulbs, which took a few days to get used to the color temperature. Also, these have a wider throw angle than the normal halogens…so you have a 120 degree…

so far so good Almost 2 years later: we have had zero trouble with these bulbs, except they didnât hold up very well to an 8.2 earthquake. But then, neither did we.
