So far so good. Exactly as expected. I tested out other bulbs for the temp vs. color values before I sank my money into buying a lot of these things. I figured out 2700 k is the way to go. Its the closest color rendition to halogen I could find. 3000 is too bright and white. 4 and 5 k is too blue.I swapped out 8 bulbs in my kitchen so far. These are very bright. Brighter than the 50 watt halogens. So I have to keep them down about 40 or 50% on the dimmer. These are brand new and so far work perfectly. No humming or…
My kitchen is bright! These are replacements in my kitchen recessed light cans. They are brighter than I expected and a fair warm color but you can still subtly tell they are LED. They are very tight in my fixtures the base fits but the bulb was a little hard to turn because they are only like a half inch smaller in circumference than my cans. It works though. Looks good! I wanted the warm color to go with the stone and a tight projection. These work perfectly.Update: These are true Dimmable bulbs. While trouble shooting Sunco “Dimmable” bulbs that could not reliably dim below 40%, I tried one of these. Perfect results with GoControl Z-Wave dimmers. Allows me to dim from 1 to 100%. No flicker. Also turns ON at 1%, other bulbs require you to jump to 40% or higher to activate, then you can dim back. I am returning the Sunco and ordering more of…
