Far better than using cheap LED bulbs in a regular light fitting.Current draw at 13v of the one with the license plate lamp is 165mA , and 265 mA total with the stop light. A normal incandescent stop lamp bulb will draw 1.7A, and the tail light about 0.3A, total of say 2A. This will cause some voltage drop through the trailer lighting connector and (usually skinny) trailer wiring…
False Advertising
Poor quality This is a very poorly constructed light set, that pictures do not adequately describe. The lights themselves are very flimsy to the touch, and have a very cheap, plastic feel. The driver’s side light arrived damaged, with the white tail light broken from the mount and flailing loose in the light itself. The light is held in place by two posts, that are not very solid. When I took the white light out, the light itself feels cheap, and it is easy to see how it would fail with the smallest bump…
