The Quest AC disk can be used in new construction and remodel applications. Quest new disk uses AC technology, features a slim aluminum body, with a transluscent diffuser for reduced glare. Real dimmable LED lights I’ve tried a lot of LEDs that were supposed to be dimmable with not such good luck. None would dim to more than about 30%. Very disappointing! I was thrilled with these from Quest Manufacturing. I needed to attach them to a 4″ J-box due to limited space above the ceiling in my basement. (a standard can light would not work). Almost great I bought these for a storage room that was being remodeled, so I was not really concerned with how they looked.
