Nice bulbs for Fog or DRL. Great value for cost, and they fit into tight spaces just like incandescent equivalent. I like these bulbs. They are well made and very bright given the lack of fans or cooling fins. That makes them fit very nicely within spaces where others simply cannot go.That said, please note that these are NOT bright enough to use as dedicated driving lights or headlamp bulbs. They are well suited for many applications especially as daytime running lamps and fog lights… But I would NOT rely on them for a sole source of light at night. They aren’t bright enough to do that…
Ok, but… Overall I’d give these about a 6 out of 10.The pros: They truly are plug and play. They plug in and fit exactly as a standard 9005 bulb would, which obviously makes installing them very easy.The cons: I can’t say they’re any brighter than a standard halogen bulb. In fact I’d say they’re probably about 25% dimmer. They work, and add additional brightness when they come on in addition to the low beams. But overall I can’t say I’m amazed by them. I’ll probably try to find…
