These should allow a long life and a homemade bracket should keep them from breaking. Evidently the company has been paying attention to the complaints about the tight nuts. The two tail lights came with a small bag of fasteners to hook it up to the trailer. The lights would have fit the trailer brackets just fine but I decided to weld up new brackets to protect these lights from backing into small obstacles. Figuring out the wiring was pretty easy. I anticipate many years of use from these LED lights. They are very bright and the flashing can be seen on a sunny day…
Nothing like spending an extra half hour on something stupid Lights come with nuts on the studs to anchor to the tail light flange on the trailer.Instead of placing the nut on the stud a couple of turns, enough to secure, the nut was cranked on to the stud.As a result when I tried to remove the nut the stud spun around in its plastic anchor. Took me half an hour to remove after I used 2 of the old tail light nuts tightened up against each other on the end of the stud, held them with a wrench while I wrenched off the frozen nut.Would…
