— If you use the light strip first time, you may smell bad, it’s just normal. Keep it for some days, the smell will disappear.
— Please make sure that the mounting surface is clean before you use the tape. The adhesive backing is strong and adheres well to properly prepared surfaces which is great.

The LEDs are bright with no non-working lights and thankfully, the adhesive backing was actually effective. Wood is often a difficult surface to get these types of adhesives to adhere to but it’s stayed in place for weeks now with no signs of falling off. At full brightness the power brick and the LEDS get pretty darn hot; but turning the brightness down to the lowest 1 or 2 settings solved this problem for me and the LEDS were still plenty bright (at least for my purposes).
