Too hard to install I wanted to replace 4 fluorescent fixtures and bought this one to try. Big problem: this is not meant to work with 12 gauge wires, which is what I have. First of all, the strain relief (Romax connector) is too small. This is not a big deal: I got a 3/8″ strain relief and used my drill press to enlarge the knock-out hole in the body of the lamp. Nice Under Cabinet lights, when you know how to install them…whoops — WATCH THE VIDEO This is a very nice replacement for a 12″ fluorescent. It was remarkably easy to install AFTER figuring out the disassembly instructions. Nice that they give you an instruction to take out a knockout (as if), but really don’t explain how to get to the guts very well. BE WARNED – USELESS HARDWARE INCLUDED… I bought 3 of these. The concept is good, the light seems sufficient so giving this a 2 star rating even though installation warrants 1 star. Out of the three lights we purchased, two of the three screws included with clamps (1 for each light) do not work because they aren’t threaded correctly. Wire nuts are also way too small for the job. Additionally, included screws to attach under cabinet are too long and will extend into interior floor of cabinet. You will need to use shorter screws…
