Good color and brightness, definately works on 12V ac transformer feed March 2017: I am updating an aging garden light system and (so far) am very pleased with these LED lights. The build quality seems adequate, although much lighter material than the typical halogen bulb lights that have been corroding in my garden for 10+ years. I don’t expect to ever open the LED lights, so maybe they don’t require the robust screw-cover construction of their halogen ancestors. Good color, nice and bright and truly are AC or DC So far so good! These lights have only been installed for a short time but fit in very nicely in our fairly extensive mix of tungsten and LED outdoor lighting. Installation was very simple. The lights do not come with the clamp-on style connectors you see with other low voltage landscape lights but this is not a downside. I have always found those connectors to be hit and miss and often needing to re-wire them, the way I wired these. I simply twisted the wires to my main run and everything…
