Disregard reviews about âon/offâ issues. I initially thought there was a design flaw with the light and the sensor. The light senses that itâs dark outside and will turn itself on. Once the light is on the sensor sees light (given off by the light itself) and thinks itâs daytime and then cuts itself off. After the light is turned off the light senses that itâs dark outside and turns itself back on. This cycle will repeat itself all night long IF YOU DONâT INSTALL THE SMALL SHIELD around the sensor that comes with the light…
Very bright and far-reaching! 3400lm, 5000K, dusk-dawn Update:3 months later, it flickers all night. It does not stay on. None of the factors around the light have changed. I am so disappointed.Lowering the rating to ONE STARS.ORIGINAL REVIEW AND 4 STARS:This is for the Dusk-to-Dawn LED Outdoor Flood Light, 3400lm (Ultra-Bright), Waterproof Security Floodlight, 28W (220W Equiv.), 5000K (Daylight)(I will see how it lasts and be willing to upgrade to 5 stars with a decent lifespan.)First night of the…
Extremely bright, install on “round” outlet box. I like it, but for reasons below only 4 stars, Tips: They don’t include these reminders, which will save you some installation missteps1. Do not let the mounting screw slip out, it will be very difficult to get it back thru the wires. They could have inserted a fixed tubular channel in the base for the screw to run it through.2. To attach the light shield that protects the sensor from fugitive backlighting the nut has to be removed, which loosens the sensor, it would have been simple enough to include a thin keeper…
