Soooo bright! This is a great idea. I have a reasonably expensive drone that has GPS and return to home, but I always get a bit nervous when its too high or far to see. This strobe chip is bright enough to see in broad daylight and even when the drone is hundreds of feet up in the air. It gives me more confidence to fly the drone higher and makes it that much more fun. And its so light that I don’t lose any flying time. The velcro pads it comes with are crap…
Not what I had expected at all . Strobe only , could be a lot smaller in physical size, also it would be nice if the battery spanned the length of the board so as when using Velcro it would span the length of the unit instead of half of the device . Makes for poor mounting when affixing it to the drone using Velcro .I purchased these only because firehouse cree were unavailable and have been for some time .These are no where near the quality of the firehouse cree strobe lights which have three modes and various…
