Good enough for what I needed to do I needed a voltmeter for a gas powered golf cart because I was tired of having to take extra time to hook up a meter to it. I ran two T-splices (TICONN T-Tap) that allowed me to put in a spade connector into the cigarette plug wiring on accident and wired a piece of wiring from a 12v plug into the display. Works great. Precise, accurate, and good looking! Good buy for cheaply monitoring electricity! Almost five stars. The display isn’t easy to read from above, see my photos from different angles; that’s my main gripe because of my installation location. I mounted these in my RV about 4 feet up to monitor both sides of a 220v three-wire system. I need to crouch down to level or below the displays to read them, a minor disappointment. Works very well This charges my phone faster than any of my wall chargers which I think is great. I installed it in the console of my Volvo after removing the cigarette lighter socket and slightly enlarging it with a Dremel tool and it’s been working wonderfully since. I will admit that it does emit a very bright and distracting green light where the digits are lit up but this was easily toned down with “light dims” that I found here on Amazon.
