In addition to the wired plug assembly, there are 2 wires coming out of the back of these lights with a metal enclosed resistor (not sure what it is for). Before attaching to the jeep, I remove stock lights and plugged the LED lights in for testing. After only being on for 2 or 3 minutes, I grabbed the resistor, which was just hanging at this point, and almost instantly let go to avoid getting burned. These resistors get dangerously hot!
