It looks decent, it works OK, but too many poorly executed details- and who wrote this listing? Wow, this is one confused listing. It says in the item title 12 watts, in the details 20 watts and 2400 lumens, while on the box it says 19.6 watts and 1200 lumens. It also looks in the picture like it has a wrap around diffuser, but it doesn’t- just the bottom panel. And the product description says it mounts flush when it is obviously a surface mount. YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR I am using this in my storage room to replace a two bulb T-12 fluorescent fixture . This light , while basically providing a good amount of light , is poorly designed from an installation standpoint . The hole near the middle of the fixture is not sufficient to allow the normal size 12 or 14 gauge Romex into this fixture …I had to enlarge the opening . Also , that hole is not centered like the old fixture because this light has the LED strip all the way down the middle …not a huge problem…
Satisfied so far I installed this today.I was replacing a fluorescent fixture and the installation was simple.You have to remove the light diffuser in order to get the screws and wire caps out. The directions say to squeeze the diffuser in order to get it back on properly. When I did, the diffuser began to crack (it is cheap plastic) so be careful with that.I would not call this “instant on”. I put this at the end of a string of 2 — the other still being fluorescent.
