Great Bright Light Bulbs! These arrived yesterday. Bought the “Day light” ones. Looks like some futuristic product! Upon inspection of the bulbs sturdy construction and heavier than I expected. Our ceiling fan light in the dining room is so dim (only accepts (3) 40 watt bulbs, so I thought I would try these….Read a lot of reviews that they did work, flickered too much, made a loud buzzing noise and or took to long for the bulbs to turn on.#1. They work great in our ceiling fan (VERY BRIGHT)…
Beware- don’t last long
Defective Bases When I received these bulbs, all three had deformed bases. None of them could be inserted into the light fixture. I have included two pictures that show the base of one of these lights along side of the light bulb that was being replaced. If you examine the base of each bulb, you will see that the old bulb has symmetrical threads going around the base and it is aligned with the bulb. This new bulb has unsymmetrical threads and the base is slightly out of alignment with the bulb…
