Great long distance light. This light works very well. On mine the focus adjustment allows you to eliminate the central dark spot mentioned in some comments. Maglite make great lights, rugged, waterproof, and very reliable. Another service to their customers to aid selection is the information supplied with each light and on their website. Underwhelming LED I’ve always loved my Maglites, so am surprised to be writing this review. I’m sorry to report that Maglites’s move to LEDs, at least on this particular product, leaves a great deal to be desired. They are indeed brighter than all prior bulb types, but there is an annoying dead area in the center of the beam. It’s not going to keep one from being able to find something or someone in the dark, it just seems to be an unforced error in the design of the lens. The power and brightness are…
