The 18V LXT Lithium-Ion Cordless 12 LED Flashlight (model DML801) provides ultra-bright illumination, versatility and convenience. At full brightness (12 LED), it provides 240 lumens of light. The two-mode switch also provides a “half-brightness” setting with 6 LED (120 lumens). The fast-charging 18V LXT Lithium-Ion 3.0 Ah battery delivers 12 hours of continuous illumination on a single charge on the full brightness/12 LED setting and a full 22 hours on the half brightness/6 LED setting.

I love this powerful, very versatile, long lasting light. The fact that the battery interchanges with my other Makita tools only makes the product better. I don’t know how I got along without it to this point. I would buy it again and I would recommend it to a friend. I am replacing a cheap LED work light with this, because I dropped the styrene plastic cheap light and it is now in multiple tiny pieces. Makita makes some awesome tools. Nice cordless flashlight with multiple purposes. We have all the makita cordless tools and it is nice that the same battery is interchangeable with all tools. Holds a charge. This has two brightness settings and you can angle it or fold it in half to store it. I use it at camp to read at night (we are off grid).
