Simply roll out the length of lights you need, cut to your desired size and stick them up with their self-adhesive backing. You can control on/off, color selection, brightness and color sequence all with the included remote.  The LED Strips themselves are rated for outdoor use, the POWER Supply brick is also safe for placement outside, unless there are moist conditions, and the power supply should be placed in a dry environment.

That’s not an issue to worry about since the Brightstrip is expandable with additional color reels (sold separately).
