Decent quality box, comes with plenty of seals, just verify color of wiring before you start hooking stuff up! Color of wire will definitely need to be checked on this as if you are using it for an RV I think it would be fine, but for a standard trailer you better double check. Here’s what I had: Black=12V Power, Brown=Right Tail & Signal, Blue=Brake Control. Great unit. easy to mount and wire Great unit. easy to mount and wire. I wish I had read Ryan Jones review before I started wiring. I installed all new wire on my flatbed trailer and used the standard color code for wire and lights. Connected the wiring to the box color to color match and nothing worked right. Got out the power tester and found that the colored wires with this unit mean absolutely nothing as far as wiring standards. Heavy Duty 7 way case and cable Item is as advertised, heavy duty. The case appears to be made of a semi flexible plastic that will not crack or break in extreme cold. The 7-pin connector is molded and the contacts appear to be copper. The eight foot cable is just the perfect length for my four pin to seven pin conversion.Just installed it today and all the colors are correct and match the wiring connections for my truck.Time will tell the durability of the case and wiring harness and the internal wiring…
