Good lights, great look, even illumination….only wished they lasted a little longer throughout the night. Great complimentary piece to any outdoor setting. These fit my posts as expected and when secured with the screws included you wont have to worry about them blowing away. Now as far as light output and durability I’ve been satisfied. I will say they dont last as long throughout the night as I would have hoped and if I had to guess I would say they stay illuminated for about 4-6 hours once they turn on. Returning these – very dim – would say about 1.5 lumens when installed above 5 feet. I should have paid attention to the reviews/star ratings. These lights are no where near 5 lumens output. I suspect that the 5 lumens rating is based on the reflection from the large silver domed plate at the base of the lantern – not the output of the light itself. It would be ok if you were using it as a path light because the reflected light would be closer to the ground and concentrated I guess. I wanted these for the top of a post at head height so the silver dome reflected the light…
