This fixture has nice features but many problems! This is a very nice light for a shed. There are three settings- On (on all the time), auto (dusk to dawn), and Off. The remote control is supposed to turn it on and off and click through two light level settings. I thought at first my remote didn’t work because the directions said the “On” position means the light is on all the time. I thought then that it should turn the light on from the “Off” position but it didn’t. The directions don’t say how the remote is used to turn the light on and…
Lamp is bright, quality is so so.. Light didn’t work with remote at unboxing, but after fiddling with the remote and battery a bit, it started to work.. Too bad you can’t get both light brightness with lamp alone if remote fails. Quality is a bit cheap and I’m not too sure how long the solar panel support bracket will stand up to wind and sun UV rays over time. Perfect for my patio. We installed this over our table in our patio cabana. We placed the panel on the roof and hung the light inside. It’s not real heavy which is a good thing. I found that the light was a little harsh by itself so I unscrewed the little clear dome and put a little square of tissue paper inside to diffuse the light. I happened to have colored tissue paper and have used pastel pink, green, and blue at various times and it really creates a different mood and look with each color change. LED…
