With its 12 foot cord, this lighting option is ideal for hanging a paper lantern from a standard HEIGHT ceiling, plugged into the floor outlet, using the built-in on/off switch located about 3 feet from the plug. Since we use a standard type “a” bulb socket, you are allotted the freedom of using up to a 60 watt conventional bulb or CFL and LED equivalent bulbs, which can easily provide enough light for our largest of lanterns.
