Great light for the price! This light is amazing, especially for the price. The brightness is just enough for my plants to grow, but not too bright to the point where I would have to buy a light stand to raise it. The light is basically fully plastic other than the adjustable stands and the finish is completely black, which in my opinion, looks really good. 20-27″ model is perfect size for a standard 10-gallon tank growing easy low light plants. This is a review of the 20-27″ model (so I guess the medium sized one). Also note this is an initial impression review. As I just received this item and installed it on my tank, I do not yet have any long term experience with it. And also, I run my tank lights off timers, so I have set the light to fully on and let the timer turn it off/on each day and so don’t use the “blue LEDs only” option.
