works great as a flashlight but I bought this to get … works great as a flashlight but I bought this to get 1000 lumens yet it’s dimmer than a $10 light I also bought on amazonI tested both lights with the same fully charged 18650 rechargeable batteries and since both have varying angles of light I tested with narrow and wide light beamsThe $10 light is slightly larger in your hand but it’s at least twice as bright, yet it’s marketed as 600 lumens. I’m not scientist but this light may be as low as 400 lumens…
Good so far Oh. My. God. This flashlight is fantastic. I purchased this for walking the dog at night. My neighborhood isn’t particularly well lit, so I wanted to be sure there were no critters lurking (skunks!) And be able to see to pick up any poop my pup did. Quite frankly, this flashlight would alert ant crittees within a 100 us radius that we were out and about. It’s compact, easy to charge with the rechargeable battery and so bright. You can adjust the circumference so that it it not so…
