Well built light for very reasonable price – works great, but has some limitations. I’d actually give this 4.5 starts if that were possible. I’ve owned several LED based yard lights, path lights and spotlights in the last 10 years or so, as well as some low voltage incandescent yard lighting and even a solar path light with a tiny fluorescent bulb. My biggest complaint about the LED lighting in the past has been very dim light output, and when solar, very limited duration of light each night. I’M IMPRESSED!!! Six months after installed, and it still is working like a charm!!!!!!!! Colorado Springs, CO has had major rain May and June this year, 2015, and it’s still gives me what I need at night. I have it installed outside on the front door frame about 6 feet up. It gives me the light I need to unlock my door. When I walk out the door it does the brighter light from my movement through the door and I can see going down the three steps to the landing.
