Incredibly bright, durable, and fantastic customer support. After looking at all of the reviews for these LED strips, I expected a lot more than I received. The LED strips illuminate very brightly, shown below in the attached photo. With a bit of alteration they will work for my turn signal relocation on a 1985 Yamaha Maxim 700. With that said, I would strongly disagree that both of my LED strips are waterproof as suggested by the customer answers. Only time will tell The lights themselves are bright. Will need modification to make the blinkers work properly (’98 V Star 650). The casing is of medium quality. The wires are a very small gauge which makes it very hard to install properly. Most motorcycle wiring harnesses are of a thicker gauge. Splicing the two together well is difficult. Light only bends in the vertical plane (lights up, sticky side down). Would have preferred a horizontal bend with lights facing back and sticky side forward for my…
Don’t Worry About Brightness. (UPDATE. February 2017. The plastic in which the LEDs are sealed is becoming cloudy. Not sure why.) I am using them as turn signals on a UTV in conjunction with a kit from ledtsk.com. I mounted them fairly high on the roll cage using the included double stick tape – clean, low profile install. They are very bright – brighter than most car blinkers – and they can be seen from a 90 degree angle.
