The unit is identical to the OEM taillight, and it includes light bulbs. It was easy to switch out–only two screws to remove and the old unit pops out of the housing. Once it is plugged into the wire harness, it can be installed in the housing. The only problem I experienced was the 2 pins that hold the unit on the right side did not lock into the rubber grommets on the car. When i opened the rear door, it would hit the light unit.
