Only LED to Fit 2012 VW Passat TDI SE Low Beam These are perfect & the only way to upgrade halogen low beams on a 2012 VW Passat TDI SE. I tried other bulbs & adapters, but none of those worked. The LasFit G2 conversion for the H7 VW low beam is much brighter than halogens & it took just a few minutes to install. The only hiccup I encountered was the small white gasket pictured was on the LED bulb originally, but it wouldnât let the bulb seat properly into the headlight. Insanely bright. Not really appropriate for low beam use. Extremely bright led conversion. They expect you to cut a hole in your dust cover for cooling which is kinda lame. Bulbs are difficult to seat due to bulk and lack of thumbnfins to twist. Also. Lights are insanely bright. Brighter than my high beams.Returned because I didnât want to be âthat guyâ & I highly doubt the legality of these bulbs.
