Misleading packaging This is my view of these bulbs as an electrician, I bought 17 packs from Home Depot today, $5 a box, $2.50 a bulb.On the box you can read the awesome warranty, and how they arent to be used in wet locations or in emergency fixtures. Buzzing sound We purchased this bulb from Home Depot. It came in a 2-pack for $5, so we figured it was worth a try. We tested it in an indoor, completely open, single bulb lamp that doesn’t dim. The bulb definitely buzzes, so we will be returning it. The buzz isn’t super loud, but it can be heard if you’re within 1-2 feet and possibly from even farther out if you’re in a quiet room.
