Thought they didn’t work. I WAS WRONG! Here’s why! Originally, I thought these bulbs would not work in my lamp. As it turns out they work just fine. These were the first LED’s I’ve bought and I have learned something that may help others who are having trouble with LED’s. The base of LED bulbs may not extend as far into the socket as your standard bulbs. Disconnect the fixture from power, and pry up the contact (the little tongue of metal at the bottom of the socket) just a little bit using a flat screwdriver, tongue depressor, pop sickle…
