Too yellow – especially when dimmed. Soft white? More like sickly yellow. I tried the LED’s in my kitchen for the first time since it was supposed to be soft white and not the bright, glaring white type of light. While they do give off a clear, bright light, they throw out a yellow tone compared to the Verilux full-spectrum incandescent bulb (lavender tinted glass/plant light) which I replaced. Pros: They work well and I definitely save moneyCons (kinda): I learned after buying these that quality is key in LED. I installed LED dimmers and then replaced 10 lights in 3 zones and another 2 lights in another non dim-able zone. the static zone has no issues. The 3 dim-able zones get intermediate flicker.
