Can’t Operate the Lights Outside of Your WiFi network First the Negatives:You cannot control these lights from the Hue app if you’re not at home. The app only works if you’re within your home’s wifi range. Part of the reason why I wanted these is so that I could manually turn on my lights when I’m out of town (to make it look like someone’s home).
