Good Quality Build and Nice Bright Soft White Lighting These appear to be of good quality built and are affordably priced in 12 pack bulk packaging. The soft white color is attractive as it is warm but not too yellow and not too blue. I replaced older fluorescent reflector bulbs which were also energy efficient but I didn’t like that they took time to warm up and kind of yellow after turning on before they were bright and white. dimmable just like incandescent light !!! My house as built in 1999. A lot of switches are dimmable switches designed for incandescent lights, including halegen lights. These switches does not work well with so called CFL light (compact fluorescent light), the first generation energy saving lights. When a CFL light is installed, the dimmable switches need to to set the max level for the CFL to light without obvious flickering.
