Bad flickering in under counter fixtures
Looking Great After Install! Fingers Crossed That They Last. Wow! I just installed 10 of these bulbs in my front yard landscape lighting, replacing the 7W incandescent bulbs that I had been using. I am very impressed so far. I was pleased that the base of these bulbs is shaped so that it felt like they seated much more firmly in the wedge socket than the traditional bulbs did. Hopefully this will mean that they are more resistant to becoming loose and losing a proper contact over time. I am optimistic on that point.As for the light…
Painted the tips to make them look like 7W When I purchased them the description said 7 watts. Now they changed it to 18 watts. Yikes! I would not have purchased 18 watt as that is too bright for my application. Also, they are not dimmable.Use is outside in the soffit. The bulb sits up in a well and is not exposed. What I did was use a frosted spray paint and a plastic black paint for the tips. Now they are close to looking like 7 watts.
