50/50 Actually 5 stars for the customer service department just because they will kept sending replacement bulbs as they burn out, but only 1 star because these light bulbs are JUNK. I wanted them for my garage out door lighting and when they worked there was plenty of light. The PROBLEM for me was the fact that they only lasted a couple of weeks, then they died. As others have said, when you take them out for replacement they are separated and the base of the bulb has to be carefully taken out…
Super bright, compact, good color temperature. Nice simple form. They get hot however—as hot as the CFL bulbs they replaced. I was surprised and disappointed by this.The bigger issue is that I found 2 out of 4 of the bulbs I have in horizontal fixtures unexpectedly dangling from their sockets. The transparent bulb cover (containing the led unit) had inexplicably loosened and fell away from the base of the bulb and was hanging by wires. Nobody ever handles these…
