Big Power in a Small Package – The Rigid Industries D2 LED Light is one of the most versatile lighting products on the market today. This 6 LED light can be used for virtually any lighting application – from off-road to marine to agriculture. At only 34.5 watts, the D2 produces 3,030 raw lumens of light. Its compact size and shape allow the D2 LED Light to fit almost anywhere. Specter Optics – Our patented Specter optics system features 50% more LED’s than our Hybrid optics in the same footprint and is specifically designed to cover more area. By incorporating a reflector with no facets or orange peel, the Specter optics system produces an intense, smooth beam with minimal wasted light. Driving Pattern – Our engineering team designed the Driving version of our Specter optics system to project light not only far, but also wide. This light utilizes a narrow, oval-shaped reflector that projects both spot and flood beam patterns. Rather than a conical beam, this technology creates an oblong beam that maintains a bright center hot spot, as well as incredible horizontal dispersion. Quality Construction – Our circuitry is designed in-house to be more powerful, be more efficient, and generate less heat. Our durable aluminum housings feature custom, over-sized heat sinks which keep the temperature down and allow our LED’s to run cooler and brighter. All Rigid Industries LED lights receive a high quality powder coat finish, a custom-molded rubber seal, and an unbreakable, scratch resistant lens. Rigid Industries LED lights are engineered to withstand whatever you, the road, or nature can throw at them.

Very Impressive (See updates at the end of this review)I recently bought a 2012 Ford F-150 truck, and was disappointed by the high beams. After some research, I ordered the Rigid Industries 50231 Dually D2 LED Driving Lights. I designed and built my own switch and control modules (4 switches inside the cabin, and a separate power control module with 4 relays near the front of the truck), so I did not use the Rigid Industries supplied relay and switch. It turned out I could not have used the…
I love these lights. Have them mounted on my Jeep Wrangler side pillars at an angle, they throw enough light to be used as “alley lights” and the wiring can be cut so each turns on independently. The default wiring harness is 1 switch turns on both. I use them when I arrive at a car accident, fire, or offroading, to be able to see clearly to the sides of my vehicle. They would work equally well facing forward, but I recommend getting a Rigid E2 20″ bar in “Driving” pattern…
