Efficiency – The LED diodes are very electrically efficient, which could save you money over time. The LEDs don’t need to be replaced every few grows to maintain its brightness. Individual LED diodes keep their brightness practically forever.
Customized Color Spectrum – It is known that the color spectrum of light affects how plants grow. I currently have a 600 watt MH/HPS running against this 600W LED and I can tell you first hand that the uniformity, leaf color and overall coverage is superior to the the MH/HPS, not to mention the lower energy consumption. Growing the same plant strain in hydroponics, started them at the same time and using the same nutrients.
