Wow! These are a 200% improvement over my old halogen headlights. These Safego LED H4 bulbs are awesome. They are such a huge upgrade. I purchased a pair of 7″ round retrofit headlights for an older car with plans of adding LED bulbs. I was looking for something with a low profile heatsink and driver with a nice length of wire between the bulb, driver, and H4 connector. I had an extremely tight space to work with since the back of the headlight bucket was steel. I needed to mount the headlight and bulb in the housing while having the driver mounted…
I have always loved LED lights, just impresses me how they can be so bright but yet they use less power than your standard lightbulb. I however have been on the fence about purchasing LED bulbs for my vehicle headlights because I know LEDs can be very bright but bright enough to trust and be able to see to drive at night? I came across these with an opportunity that I couldn’t pass by. I purchased them and they arrived quite promptly I must say. These were packaged nicely with care in a box…
This is not my first go-round with LED headlight bulbs, and I must say these are a very nice improvement from previous sets I’ve owned. They have a useful cutoff shroud, brightness and color temperature are perfect (I’d say 5000k-5500k, not quite 6000k in my opinion) and these appear to be well-constructed. Install is a breeze, just need a little extra room for the small box. I installed this on a motorcycle and had no trouble at all. You do need to be careful to guide the wire bulb holder…
