Tips

Check the dimensions of your fixture as these bulbs are slightly longer than a standard A15 bulb. Bulbs seem well constructed and have good output of 5000K light, unfortunately they are about 3/8″ longer than a standard A15 incandescent bulb and would not fit in my 11″ flush mount ceiling fixture (cover wouldn’t fit back on over bulbs). One other thing to keep in mind with this bulb is that all of the LED’s are at the top of the bulb (wide end) and are primarily suited for a fixture shining light directly downward. These bulbs are really great, BUT… These bulbs are great BUT… they are not the same size as a standard A15 incandescent bulb, so if you need to use them in any type of semi-enclosed fixture with a glass cover, the bulbs are not going to work. I feel badly because the brightness (800 lumens) and quality of the light color (80 CRI) are excellent. The heat release openings in the bulb are ingenious too.
