When the power is on, Everbright works just like a regular light bulb, but when the power goes out, its internal battery kicks in to provide an additional 3.5 hours of illumination. Thanks to Everbright’s smart diagnostic circuit, you can turn the bulb on and off with a wall switch during blackouts just like you would normally, making the charge last even longer. Once power is restored, the battery will recharge automatically.

Since Everbright fits into any standard E26 light socket and is damp-rated for use anywhere in the house, you can put one in every room to provide much needed light in the event of a blackout.
