The ZX-1XL is good, but I think the ZX-1 is better. Summary of my review: The ZX-1XL is a great light, but I prefer the ZX-1 since it has very similar brightness to the naked eye, is smaller, uses one less battery, has the option to use AAA batteries instead of the provided lithium ion, and has a black click button.I just received the ZX-1XL in the mail and I like that it has a belt clip and the same functionality as the ZX-1. Flashlight champion. Forget the C/D cell units, this is your man! Ridiculously bright — blinding. This is without a doubt the best flashlight I ever owned. The company support exceeds expectations. I had to contact them when after TWO years the light would no longer stay on. I asked for advice on troubleshooting. They immediately sent a replacement unit. The replacement was still having the same problem with the original batteries/charger.
