1.About Dimmable
G4 bulbs are not dimmable. Please do not use them with dimmers, otherwise it might flicker or noise.
2.About Wattage
Once the total wattage of LEDs is not matched with that of transformer, LED might flicker.
In this case, please add 1~3 standard halogen bulbs in LED bulbs assembly.
3.About Working Voltage
G4 LED is easy to stop working if the work voltages exceed 12 voltage. Please make sure it works on 12V system.
4. A LED & halogen compatible transformer/ fixture is needed, otherwise, it may flicker.
How to choose the right base replacement bulbs for your lighting fixture?
The number “4” of G4 LED means the distance between pin centre to centre is 4mm.
Just measure the distance between pins centre to centre, and you will know what type of base you need.

Smokes/Melts Bought a 10 pack of the G4 2W warm white LED bulbs to replace my outside landscape lighting. Replaced 5 bulbs so far. 4 worked great, but the 5th started smoking and burned out within seconds. Closer inspection reveals the driver/circuit board is burned out and the surrounding plastic started to melt. Replaced with a 6th bulb out of the 10 pack and that one works great.
