Expensive and hard to install but otherwise great! Brighter than equivalent fluorescents. They are great but installation was not easy and they are expensive – especially if you only want a couple. BTW, I have four bulb fixtures, and although I wired the connections for all four bulbs, I only use two – they are very bright.Although they are supposed to be a direct replacement for with existing bulbs (remove fluorescent bulb, insert one of these – they have the same connectors), they would not work with any of my fixtures.I do…
Poorly designed instructions! They said they were plug and play. They would work with or without the ballast. I plugged these into about 10 different lights and only two of them lit up when installed………….AND only one light in each of those two incidents worked in each fixture! I am rewiring and finding that some of the lights will still not light both bulbs even when wired as recommended. Very poor instructions included with the lights. Only one small picture on the end of the box indicating one end of the bulb…
