beautiful color and very nice beam uniformity and spread slightly tight flood pattern This bulb has the most beautiful “throw” or focus of any LED “reflector” bulb I’ve yet tried. Because there is no diffuser, it also has very little light reflecting/refracting out beyond the “flood” angle. I would say it is a slightly tighter beam than “flood,” but I wouldn’t go so far as to call it a “spot.” It is perfect for track lighting illuminating artwork, or for downlighting where you don’t want glare from the bulb affecting more distant parts…
Smooth lens, no hot spot, nice warm light, dim nicely I have been looking for over 2 years for a Par30 short neck LED bulb that has a relatively smooth glass face, no glaring hot spot, and warm 2700k color. I finally found it. I purchased 23 of these for our kitchen and great room and am very happy. They dim nicely with our Lutron incandescent dimmer (I did not have to buy a special LED dimmer), there are no hot spot, good light diffusion and put out plenty of light.
