Not 700 lumens according to the package
They work, but are only as bright as a 40W incandescent, and the color is off I have a light fixture in the dining room that takes G16.5 bulbs for some reason. I thought these 60W equivalent LED would be a nice upgrade from the 40W incandescents that were in it, but to my surprise, they do not appear to be any brighter. Upon further investigation, a typical 60W incandescent bulb will put out 800 lumens – these only put 500 lumens, little more than the 40W incandescents they replaced (around 450 lumens).
