Very poor value proposition – 5 or 15 bulbs failed within 2200 hours use – no where near the 30,000 hours indicated. While these bulbs look great when they are new, the longevity is no where near the advertised “30,000” hours. Based on my experience you will be lucky to get a life as long as a standard incandescent bulb, and you are paying ten times the price of an incandescent. So the value proposition is extremely poor. To be specific, I installed 15 bulbs to identify a taxiway path at a hangar. The bulbs were installed in April, 2015. By October, 2015, 5 of the 15 bulbs had failed. The bulbs…
