Ages cherry wood well, doesn’t get too hot I bought this bulb to age some cherry wood quickly, and found it very effective. A piece of woodwork was being exposed to the sun far more on one side than the other, and the coloring had begun to get a bit lopsided. I mounted this bulb in a swing-arm desk lamp and was able to even out the color in a bit over a week.I ran this bulb 24 hours a day for 10 days and never had a problem. The bulb becomes warm to the touch, but not hot enough that I worry about it being a fire hazard…
